Barbie had recently opened a new
boutique.
That morning, while she was arranging
the shop window, she felt the heat of the summer day.
She almost started sweating, so she
went inside, put clips to keep her hair up, found an old T shirt and
Capri pants. Raquelle came along, carrying her new keyboard like
purse.
"Barbie, you look so hip,” she
said, "Can I be hip as well?"
Barbie was surprised. Raquelle asked Barbie to sew for her a practical ensemble-just like hers!
Barbie thought about opening a store
with informal clothing. It was so unlike her, but she could make a
good profit.
"Some day," she said, "When
pigs can fly!"
"Now, look at these", she showed the gowns to Raquelle. Raquelle forgot all about Barbie's T
shirt looking at the beautiful new models!
"That's life", thought
Barbie, wisely.
